The pair Husband tried ripped on the side by the heel in a matter of two weeks. The hole then spread quickly. BUT, even with that, he liked these extra-wide gripping socks so much he wanted me to order him more!They are very comfortable and non-binding. The knit is light, so not super warm but warm enough for in the house. The grip pattern on the bottom makes them non-skid on the hardwood floors. So, don't expect a super-long life span for these, but when you have them you will appreciate them.
