I've used flash drives all my life, but they just seem better. MicroSDs appear to be thinner. But for all other indicators? They're fast, they're small, they have insane amounts of storage, and you can plug them into phones and some computers semi-permanently. In well-designed slots, they don't even protrude. Also *click* when the microSD card is inserted? It easily makes my "Top 10" list for most enjoyable sounds. One of them has pretty much made my Chromebook memory management issues a thing of the past. The other was able to transfer some stuff from my 7 year old phone with no driver issues. If I wanted to expand the storage on the Nintendo Switch, I heard I could use it for that too. I am much happier that I took them than I expected.
