Greater Goods Digital Scale (Updated 2019)

Good scale at an affordable price. You set it up by entering your age, height, gender, and athlete status, and the scale calculates: weight, BMI, body fat percentage, muscle mass percentage, bone density, and water weight percentage. I find the scale easy to use, can be stored upright and then removed when you want to weigh yourself: just make sure you step lightly on the scale first to allow it to calibrate, then step and read. I also had an earlier version of this scale (model 0391). The new one is a bit smaller and definitely lighter (see picture), but the principle of operation is the same for both. I took readings from both for about 2 weeks and found that there was very little difference between them, only about half a pound or less. There can be several reasons for this, e.g. B. My bathroom floor is flat, but such a small difference doesn't bother me - for my purposes, the scale is used to show change over time (gain or loss), so consistency is the most important factor. The only hesitation a human might have is that there is no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on this scale. They have a free app to track your weight (called Weight Gurus) that pairs with Bluetooth scales, but these scales require you to enter the data manually. Not a big deal, but some people might prefer to spend more and buy a Bluetooth model. In addition, these scales are reliable and easy to use. I would recommend either this or the previous model - both scales are good.
