This Isn't the Raised Edge Your Looking For

I ordered this mat for assembling components that have a lot of small parts that like to get away from you. There is technically a very small raised edge around the outside of the mat but not enough to stop even the smallest of screws. A raised 0.1" edge as stated in the title probably would have been sufficient but on the smaller side of what I was looking for. This doesn't have a 0.1" raised edge, it is 0.1" thick at the edge, the actual raised edge is 0.02" over the rest of the plane. It will not stop anything and barely registers as there.

Pros

I love how big this mat is, and the rim was a feature I had to have! It's perfect for my resin crafts!

Cons

I only used the stupid thing once
