received his hand blender today. The mixer with the hose was not connected to the motor to lock it. Eventually I stopped working on it and put it aside. As I am partially disabled I cannot repackage it and send it back to the post office. It is unusable for me as it could be defective. Received my hand blender today and tried to put the two pieces together to lock them in place. I followed the instructions in the manual, but is there any other advice you can give me that might work? I am partially disabled and cannot repack it and take it to the post office. I don't know if it's broken or if I just don't understand how it works. Addition to the previous post. I figured out how to lock the blender and it seems to work smoothly and I believe it will be of great help to me. I'm glad I bought it. Many Thanks. Used this morning for the first time, only took about 10 seconds then stopped. Haven't gotten it to work since. I should have tried that sooner right after plugging it in.
