I already had a 2.5 inch folding step stool from the same company that I used for 6 or 7 years to help me get into ours or someone else's SUVs. She did a very good job at that. And i liked it. So when I needed one in the kitchen to reach the top shelves I found this 5 inch version. It works great and is easy to fold up and store next to the fridge when not in use. It can also come in handy when I'm in my cousin's truck. It's very durable, but be careful when using it on uneven surfaces.
