So if you have something that fits all main compartment sizes, the overhang of the upper can get in the way. However, I think the purpose of this bag is not a conscious circumstance. Therefore, such placement of the flash does not spoil the rating. The materials are of very good quality. The zippers are strong and seem reliable. The fabric is a microfiber blend with water-repellent properties. This aspect of water resistance makes it look like coated canvas. I don't think it's cheap plastic or vinyl, it's like water resistant cloth backpacks but not as thick and stiff. For a Doppa bag, it's quite appropriate. Inside is subtly lined, but no padding. When examining defects, flaws, faulty seams, none were found. It's very well constructed. Oh, and in front of the small zippered front compartment is an open pocket.
