The rings don't even rotate a full extra turn (only about half) so as you can see in my photo they pull apart quite easily. This bottle opener that I attached to it isn't very light, but it's not that heavy either. The key fob hadn't lasted a month of normal use and this bottle opener was just dangling from my keys. Some disappointment. At least the keychains cost me about $6 for 100.
