I bought these to complement my TV's sound which was so quiet it was difficult to hear quiet moments in movies. I thought there would be a little boost and I could hear more clearly. I had several people I asked to listen to them and turned the speakers on and off. You couldn't tell if they were on or off when the regular TV speaker was on. If it even had an extra output that I could hook up to a subwoofer or whatever I'd probably agree, but they're useless to me. Unfortunately I waited to open until I got back from vacation so it was too late to go back. Maybe I can give this away if they have a crappy office gift exchange, I don't know.
