I have assembled all sorts of furniture, scratching posts, etc. It should have been easier than it was. Several holes were sealed with glue and carpet to keep the screws from going in. After we cut out the blockage, we were able to put it back together. This helped both of us screw the screws down. The kitten was very interested and watched as we struggled to assemble his new toy. Once that was done, he was happy to start scratching. He loves sisal scratching posts and tries to pull them up with pleasure. If you have a kitten that loves to scratch, they will love this toy.
