As with most product reviews on Amazon, people tend to show their ignorance. If the output or volume is low because your input is too low, you can either use an amplifier or just bypass the transformer. I use home theater speakers and try not to invest a lot of money in them. That's why these speakers were great. I bypassed the transformer and the Panasonic 5.1 surround sound home theater system I bought here for $133 has enough power for them. I bought 3 kits (FNT RCL REAR RSL), the home theater has a self adjusting equalizer that takes care of any feedback you might get with other systems. It improved the sound, the look of my living room and the value of the property.
