Exceptional product. I ordered 2 for me and my wife to use on a long trip to remote locations in Asia. The texture of terry cloth is less "grippy" than other microfiber towels. When the towel gets slightly damp, it feels and behaves like any other terry towel. Although the towel gets completely wet, it dries completely in about 1.5-2 hours during indoor typhoons; less in the sun. The extra large size is enough to serve as a small suitcase when traveling by bus or plane. The absorbency is amazing; A quick twist and turn dried my wife's hair almost completely to her waist. By wrapping hand-washed laundry in towels, we were able to squeeze out the excess water before hanging, which greatly speeded up the drying process. Their versatility and significant weight savings made these towels our best pre-trip purchase. Note. We followed another reviewer's recommendation and washed them separately before first use. The color faded significantly in the washing machine but stabilized after the second wash. We look forward to using them in a camper next spring.
