Review on KidCo BR303 Childrens Rail Double by Krista Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

That's less than I'm really comfortable with, but just enough to keep it from rolling.

We have a two year old who refuses to sleep in his own crib and only wants to sleep with mom and dad. We have a king size bed and while he sleeps comfortably between us at night, we parents don't always go to bed and get up at the same time. That's where this bed rail comes in. Our king bed is high off the floor and our son tosses and turns a lot when he sleeps. Folding pillows on the blank side when one of us wasn't in bed just didn't feel safe enough. With a thick king-size mattress (about 14 inches thick), the handrails felt like the tallest handrails we could find. This gives us about 6 inches of railing after installation, which is less than I'm really comfortable with, but just enough to keep it from rolling right off the bed. I want these companies to make the handrails higher. Even a few centimeters more to make us parents feel a lot more relaxed. The handrail itself was easy to assemble. The straps run between the mattress and the box spring, from one side of the bed to the other. Raising the mattress is required, which can be difficult depending on how your home is set up.

Cons
