NOAA's Ambient Weather WR-77 AM Portable FM Emergency Radio with Weather Band is a very interesting design idea. Only AA batteries are used for all typical emergency receiver functions. Features I like about this radio: * FM reception is above average. very picky, day and night. * NOAA weather bands. * Simple operation with only AA battery. * USB charger. * Torch. * Simple design. * Reliable administration. * Headphone jack. * Long time radio. improved: * Tuning LED can be less bright. * The charging circuit could be more aggressive. Charge devices slowly. All in all, it's a very different approach to a typical dynamo, solar powered, rechargeable emergency radio. I love this design concept. The performance of the radio alone makes it a purchase recommendation.
