Review on 🔌 StarTech.com 3 ft Shielded External eSATA Cable - Serial ATA 150 - eSATA (M) to eSATA (M) - Black (ESATA3) by Eric Weber

This eSATA cable is a great way to connect my computer to a 4-Bay ProBox (ProBox 3.5" 4-Bay Hard Drive Enclosure - USB 2.0 and eSATA). The price was right and it allows me to hold the drive cage against the processor which works better with my desk setup. My only complaint - and it's a SMALL one - is that the cable's plastic coating is stiff. So it looks and feels a bit cheap. It doesn't affect performance at all, just hints at it. I don't know if this cable is actually capable of the speeds listed (although I can't see why it isn't). I'm running it on an interface that only supports 1.5 Gb/s even though it's a SATA II interface (it's a PCIx 1x card).
