As you can see in the promotional image there are four dark stripes running the full length of the bedspread. On the product I received the pattern does not exactly match the center of the material it was made from. That means if you make a bed with the same amount hanging on each side, the stripes will not be centered in the middle of the bed. This can even be seen in the promotional image if you look closely as the stripes are centered but there is an extra stitch on one side. So if you make a bed with stripes down the middle it will, at least with the one I bought. This can be a problem for some people if, like me, your sheets and curtains were bought to match the bedspread. However, I love the light weight and easy care of the spread as well as its overall look and wouldn't return it for this small design flaw but then only four stars as I hope no one else notices. Overall, however, it fitted my 13-inch queen-size memory foam mattress perfectly.
