Good Grappling Hook but poor rope
I purchased the large 9โ hook mainly to fish some small branches out of the deep creek in back of our house. The hook worked great but after a using it the first time, the nylon sheathing on the rope tore and continued to split. You can see from the photo that the woven nylon strands enclosed in the sheathing are now loose and will soon come apart and break one by one, making the rope useless. The hook seems sturdy enough but Iโll have to buy a new and hopefully better made rope.
