I ordered them for an upcoming motorcycle trip with a forecast thunderstorm and heavy rain. Temperatures were forecast to be in the mid 50's so the main concern wasn't the heat but waterproofing and being able to use my phone when wet! The gloves are snug, I usually wear a size 9 and ordered XL but when I tried them on I returned them and ordered a large one. They felt better than the XL and promised to be dry warm and comfortable to sit in the living room! I ran into the weather as I had predicted; The dry gloves were pleasantly warm and the temperature was around 50, but when it started to rain they seemed to repel water at first, but after several hours of heavy rain it seemed to me that my palms and fingers were sweaty. warm? No, they were wet from the ingress of RAIN! I could press my palms together and literally see the water flow from the inside of the glove to the outside! When I stopped to fill up I took off my gloves and found they weighed about a pound and were filled with water! I squeezed 30 ounces of water out of them between a couple! Luckily I had a spare pair of gloves with me to complete the trip. The sensitivity of the touchscreen of the fingers was so-so, sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't! I can't recommend these gloves as being waterproof, I really haven't been able to test the -30 heat claim below. If that comes close to a watertight claim, then they would be GREAT for tropical climates! Save your money with REAL waterproof gloves. And most likely they will cost MUCH more than $21.00 because you really do get what you pay for! I got mine back Still DRY!
