Once installed, this insert worked great with the Godox S-Type Bracket Bowens Mount Holder. Installation should be easy; You simply remove the four Phillips screws on the back of the Wescott Rapid Box Octa and replace the standard flash mount with a Bowens mount. The problem with my Rapid Box Octa is that the screen fabric was not placed symmetrically on the back of the unit, so the fabric covered two of the four screw heads. It was difficult to move the fabric away from the screw heads. I was able to do this without tearing the fabric, but it wasn't easy and I had to find blunt homemade tools to help stretch the fabric from the screw heads. Ideally, the installation would take about five minutes, but it took me over 30 minutes. The insert isn't to blame, and my Rapid Box Octa isn't one of the "switch" models that are supposedly intended as an easy replacement. various fasteners. Installation would probably be easier if I had a Rapid Box Switch Octa-S softbox.
