Bought a brand new camper and it has a set of pull out stairs for the rear steps that swayed when you stepped on it, factory said there was nothing wrong with it. Then thought of replacing the steps with a set of fold out stairs but ended up putting this on and it stabilized the stairs perfectly. I did have to fully disassemble the item to turn bolts and pull pins in the direction most useful, they may have been because it was a second chance return, my hardware was sealed but yet had an odd bunch of extra bolts and washers but had enough to bolt to the step.
