Maybe we just got a defective one. But after 3 days of wearing it, my daughter broke it and she just tried to draw and didn't even press hard. I was a little sad and disappointed because it was a cute little thing. I don't know if it's backpack safe but it was in her backpack and she had almost nothing in her backpack and at least she's really good at hanging her back on a hook instead of throwing it off. So I don't know where in the time span and if it could have been a hack or if it was just the default and I don't know. We are considering buying another one for her but from a different brand. Because she really enjoyed the time she spent with it and really enjoyed it.
