These shoes are just too cute and I happily bought them as a gift for our friends little girl. Unfortunately, when we received it, the box, which is a beautiful decorative milk carton, was very old and shabby looking. The edges were badly worn and the paint scratched in many places. As the shoes were intended as a gift and I felt the box was part of the presentation, I requested a replacement and explained to the company that it was not suitable as a gift in this condition. I quickly got a replacement that looked almost as bad as the first one. If I wasn't giving them away the box wouldn't matter much but the shoes also have a dirty stain on one toe. The quality also feels a bit underpowered for the price, as the embellishments on the shoes look messy. The plastic of the soles penetrates the satin fabric of the shoes. I'll give them against my common sense, but I'm kind of ashamed of it. I tried cleaning the toe and even used markers to paint some of the scuffs on the box. I think I'm being picky, but then again I expected more for the price.
