Review on 🎥 3M Scotchgard Bulk Film Roll for Clear Bra Paint Protection, 2" x 90" Dimensions by Joshua Castillo

I purchased this item to fit a molding under the edge of the decklid on my truck. I cut my 2" sheer bra 1" wide to make room for what I wanted to do. After 18 months of use on my truck, the paintwork showed slight damage where the foam gasket meets the outer edge of the body. INSTRUCTIONS NOT INCLUDED on how to use Scotchgard Screen Protector. It took me a while to find some installation information on the internet. The 3-M site isn't much help, but they'll be happy to tell you where to install it. The YouTube video helped, but it's important to know the installation components. The soap consisted of 16 ounces of water with 4 drops of Johnson's Baby Shampoo. This allows the wrap to move around on your vehicle until you are ready to make it permanent. A 3:1 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol is required to activate the adhesive after using a soap solution. The videos do not address the power of medicinal alcohol. Medical alcohol is available in different strengths. I've seen 50% and 75% on the shelf. I mixed a homemade bottle of glue activator from a homemade bottle with 50% alcohol. I divide 1 part alcohol into 3 parts water. It worked. Mine is almost invisible. So far it's working great! I would do it again. I offered to do it on my son's truck but his lid has worn off the paint so I'll have to wait for it to be repainted.
