Will never locate my car without Trackarmour. This is an inexpensive way to protect your car from rocks, rubber and everything on the track without damaging your car's paintwork. It's easy to install, they even offer a felt wiper. I apply it the day before so it's also protected from road gravel when I'm towing my car. It's also great for my racing stripes, they don't peel off. Another benefit of using it is that track photos look 100x better than blue masking tape. Great track accessory!

A piece of this chain armor came off while I was riding, I didn't notice it at first because I didn't see it flapping while riding. It seemed to flap around and rub my clear coat hard enough to hurt. I've never had this on a taped car, I can tell the armor is significantly stronger than tape which I think is a good thing. . I contacted the company, they ended up getting my $25 back, I think that's cool, although now I may have to repaint the hood after they messed up my paint.

Put this on my new Porsche to protect it on the 300 mile drive home before putting on the sheer bra. There was a very light downpour and the film came loose in places. Although the film did not adhere to the hood, small bits of road sand stuck to the adhesive and the film hit my clear coat and damaged a 1/2" x 6" section of my hood. To add to the pain, quite a bit of glue stuck to the car. TRACK ARMOR didn't prevent any damage but did deal a lot. Please avoid this tragically flawed product.

I used this on the doors and nose of my 2006 Boxster to protect it from the inevitable cone marks of autocross. I (mostly) followed the instructions but didn't apply fresh wax before installing the tape; The last waxing operation was just a few months ago. It just happened with my new red GTI. perfectly clean waxed hood. I left about an inch above my knees when I put the second piece on. left for 1.5 weeks. When I went to take it off, to my dismay, when the tape overlaps, the paint has a white line embedded in or under the clear coat! I was looking for a transparent bra but as I track my car regularly I don't want one Paying $500 only to be devoured in less than a year. So, found this and it works amazing, just what I need.
