One night my wife left her laptop open and accidentally left her headphones on the keyboard. When she woke up in the morning, she found my three-year-old helping her close the lid of her laptop. With the headphones in place, the lid didn't close properly and created a fantastic tear all over the lid. I have some technical understanding and decided to order this replacement screen. When it arrived it wasn't the model number I ordered but a sheet was included saying I didn't need to worry about differences in model number as this monitor would still be an exact replacement. I made the replacement and it was indeed the exact replacement and it works exactly as it should. The screen supplied is the one listed so save the screws and monitor mounting rails for your laptop. Most importantly, take a few photos when you take apart your current laptop monitor so it'll be easier to remember how to put it back together once you've received your replacement. This is not a regular replacement for another brand, it is the same high quality monitor that I intended.
