I just received these Bosch Clear Advantage Beam wipers and I have to say I already love them. I don't know yet how they will behave in the coming winter, so keep in mind that this rating is not a rating of the performance of the wipers. What I really like about them is their design and I'm willing to give them five stars for that alone. My last pair of wipers were Valeo and the two before that were Ford OEM. All three of these kits hooked onto the hooks of my car with a vengeance. You see, all three sets of slats had one thing in common: they used locking mechanisms to hold the windshield slats on the hooks. That's all well and good when you're flying 70 mph on the freeway, but heck, those blades were difficult to remove when it came time to replace them. Each used a different complicated locking mechanism than the last, and since each pair lasted a year or more, I completely forgot how I even put them on when I had to replace them. These wipers did a good job, but this installation and removal nonsense has been annoying me every year for years. No longer! The intelligent Bosch design keeps the blade on the hook with a special lever. The force of the wiper arm applied to the windshield holds the small plastic gizmo on the bottom of the device in place and locks the wiper blade in place while the wiper is pressed against the windshield. Is it time to swap out your blades? No problem! Simply lift the lever off the windshield and the blade slides straight off the hook thanks to the pressure-relief lever locking mechanism! No more brackets or weird locking systems! When it comes time to replace them, it takes five minutes and doesn't require you to search YouTube for instructions. Although I've only been using these wipers for a few days I'm happy to report that they look and work well. as expected. Time will tell their durability.
