Excellent system and good value for money.

Fantastic system. It has not been possible to find a system in Canada (hence the US purchase) that combines a fence system with a plug in controller and an easily rechargeable collar with a remote control that is also rechargeable. A tool I can also use when I'm outside to keep my dog from playing with porcupines etc. It's easy to teach a dog to fence boundaries. 10 vibration and shock levels. My Lab, now 7 months old, is responding very well to Stage 2. It only took 2 weeks, 3 times a day in 10 minute sessions of my training for my lab, then 5.5 months old, to be fully compliant. Even while chasing the ball, she stops about 6 feet from the fence, sits down, then looks at me, looks at the ball, looks at me like she's saying you got too close to the fence, get You him and I I'll sit here until I'm done. No more chasing school buses, which would be fatal. She can safely walk and play around the house. We bought heavier gauge wire and installed it above the floor, securing it with staples just like you would secure fabric. Once the border flags are no longer needed, with a little common sense we can easily mow the grass. For rough terrain, just use more struts. At the end of the driveway we fed the wire through the culvert. The system also works excellently under a layer of snow. We placed and wired the controller in an enclosed garden shed and used a timer to automatically turn the system on at 6am and off at midnight. Similar systems installed by professional companies cost thousands of dollars more and require their services to train your dog, although the training is so simple even a 10-year-old can handle it. The company is happy to answer questions so you can be sure this system will meet your specific needs. We chose not to bury the wire because if we leave it above ground we can easily pick it up completely when we move next year.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • For old
