We used this to connect a Google PIxel 4 to an old aftermarket Rav4 head unit. For that purpose it was good. Average fidelity in a car (we would have thought it great in 1974), so it's difficult to judge the sound quality. My only gripe with off-the-shelf products like this is that they probably won't be used 24 hours a day 7 days in the same setup, so it would be nice to spend another dollar or two on something that's unlikely to get lost, wherever you are it can store when not in use. have a limited lifespan in today's disposable market. It's hard to say which will die first: USB-C or 3.5mm; 3.5mm has been around since the Walkman or earlier. But that's ranting for another day.
