The cables were broken inside when I took it out of the box and plugged it into my van. I had to wiggle the cable to get sound from both speakers. The phone end did the same within a couple of weeks. Bought so my son can ride with my phone only in the back seat. Will have to buy another one now.

first of all it didn't work on my 2020 ipad pro. Tried troubleshooting to get it working. After about 30 minutes I threw it in the trash because it wasn't worth wasting time on anymore. Ordered an adapter from the Apple store for $8 and it worked like clockwork.

Wanted to replace a worn auxiliary cable for my car. Just a regular cable phone. BUT BOY. The thing was ok maybe a week or two? And then it only got worse. Very bad. Driving the sound one way or the other (like it was made for mono sound?) requiring ridiculous cable manipulation to make it work halfway. And then, THEN, even worse. Look, I'm not a techie, so I don't know HOW, but this thing started bringing up Google Help (or another version of Siri for Android, I disabled it) without prompting?

If you follow my reviews you know I'd rather tell a little story about each product than just write another "it works" on the review page. Unfortunately, this is really the only problem with this type of electronics. This product works. It looks just like the pictures and has worked well so far, mainly used in the car and not at home. So I can certify that the sound quality is very good, but I can't say it's perfect because the car has external interference, other cars, road noise and the like.

We used this to connect a Google PIxel 4 to an old aftermarket Rav4 head unit. For that purpose it was good. Average fidelity in a car (we would have thought it great in 1974), so it's difficult to judge the sound quality. My only gripe with off-the-shelf products like this is that they probably won't be used 24 hours a day 7 days in the same setup, so it would be nice to spend another dollar or two on something that's unlikely to get lost, wherever you are it can store when not in use. have a…
