I would love this garland of lights, but the one I received was defective. First, the battery cartridge is not easy to open. You need a small pointed screwdriver to open it. The battery cartridge contains 3 AA batteries and the center battery compartment of the cartridge exploded after I turned it on. The first time I thought my battery might be the culprit even though they were bought a few months ago and in a sealed package so I bought more batteries and put them in a cartridge and it happened again. Both times it ruptured, expelling some sort of oily substance from the battery and cartridge. I have photos but there is no option to upload a photo in this post. I don't know what to do with it now. I can use it without the light but then it defeats the purpose of having that "lightweight" filament so it will be returned for a refund. Also wasted six brand new batteries. :(PS The one I received has no remote control.
