Dark part of flame on black candle

Candles are nice overall. Drip wax looks good. The timer works well, turns on and off every day. Batteries hold up well. I bought black candles for Halloween. The only thing I don't like is that some of the flames are a bit dark like the smoke over the flames and you can hardly tell they're burning. If the flame hadn't gotten darker I would have given 5 stars.
