Don't Believe The Hype

After reading some reviews and watching YouTube videos on this product, I have come to the conclusion that I can image screens for screen printing in less than a few minutes (some people mentioned even reducing exposure time down to seconds). That wasn't the case with me at all. I designed a box that allowed me to place a light source under a sheet of ultra-clear Starphire glass, and even after adjusting the light source's height during multiple exposure tests, I couldn't get more than 15 minutes of full exposure. For reference, the screen was held up by a thick foam pad topped with chipboard and weighted down with a gallon of white ink. Despite this, it still functioned as an exposure light. Although it takes longer than I wanted. I ended up buying a Ryonet LED light box and using the same method of foam padding, ink weight and emulsion, I reduced the exposure time to two minutes and fifteen seconds. I'm much better.
