Tested for Tripod Heads

This video tripod is good enough for both amateur and professional video enthusiasts. That said, if you're not a pro, this tripod should help you out and save you some money in the process. When I say it's good enough, I mean it's good in every way, except it's not as stiff, solid, or heavy as a more pro setup. Less weight is good for us laypeople. I have a more professional video tripod. The difference is that the moving parts are smoother, stiffer and stronger, not to mention their weight. To compensate, this tripod has more features. With this model, for example, you can adjust the leg spread. You can lock it so that the legs can be fixed at different angles - a higher stance or a wider stance. My more professional tripod only locks in one position. Thus, the legs are always at the same angle. All details work as they should. The latches on the legs are correctly fastened. Cranks, knobs and other moving parts move smoothly and lock securely. The fluid head is not removable. From the photos of the product description at the time of writing this article, the fluid head appears to be removable. As far as I understand it is not removable. But who cares. I prefer mine to always be attached, even when purchased separately. An unexpectedly nice feature of the fluid head is that there's a separate knob for fine-tuning the pan resistance. If you try to do this with the large friction knob, which should only be used to lock or unlock the panning motion, you can do it, but it's not the smooth transition of resistance that the fine adjustment knob offers. Rubber feet form a ball. and female connection with legs. I like it. It has slightly more features than my more professional video tripod and everything works fine. It might not be as durable as my more expensive tripod, but I'd say it's suitable for beginners and serious hobbyists alike - everything you need in a video tripod. It's reliable and its light weight makes it much more comfortable than my heavier device. And you know what they say - the best you've got.
