Review on Enhanced Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses for Enterprise-level Applications by Josh Garber

Really exciting technology but unfortunately the pair I received didn't work properly. The screen was bright and clear but the camera could never focus making it unsuitable for what I bought it for. The battery life isn't great but they work when plugged into a power bank so it's not a deal breaker, it's actually better that they keep the light from the glasses to make them comfortable to wear. I opened a support ticket the same day I received them and they were able to help me resolve some of the issues I was having initially but when it came to the camera not being manual or auto focus could focus everything they said they need to check with their engineers. Two weeks later I was still in the dark with no updates or fixes. I applied for an update every few days and the only answer I got was that they need a little more time or care and I don't get an answer until I ask again. They asked for proof of purchase which I provided and I would have considered exchanging them for a working pair but in the end I got tired of waiting for an answer and decided to return the order. The technology is very exciting and if it worked as intended I would be a happy customer. They need to invest more in customer service as it sounds like a trending topic from other reviews I've seen. I think I'll let the company fix the bugs and consider buying their next-gen glasses when they come out when people have better luck with them. So far so bad but I think if Vuzix has time to fix the bugs this is the future of AR glasses and if they can't improve customer service hopefully they will license their tech to other companies that do the will be the best support. .
