It's like lying on a board, which can be useful for someone (not for me). It was a very hard mattress and of course the metal base didn't allow for bouncing. Quite painful for my baby and for me after he gave up sleeping on it that week. I wanted to leave it to the guests after the furniture was brought to us, but I wouldn't do that to anyone I knew. Edit: After about 20-25 times of careful use, first by a child, then by a 160lb adult (weight limit 300), the metal legs holding up half of the bed are bent so much that they don't work. Please look at the picture, pay attention to the foreground and background - this was done on both sides. Unfortunately, the return period has expired, but be careful with the buyer.
