As described. Straight-through muffler that eliminates back pressure without being overly loud. The construction is solid and these silencers will last a long time. They are not chromed. It's stainless steel, so it almost looks like polished aluminum. The metal is slightly discolored in the area of the welds. I agree, but just wanted to clarify for those who think these mufflers are shiny. My attached photos show the actual appearance.
