worked on my 2008 CRV. No programming required.
Easy replacement for the remote indoor unit (button box) and key blade for my CRV. NO chip exchange as with other Honda models (e.g. Accord). Nothing needs to be programmed as the electronic security chip is embedded in the keypad, which you need to change to a new shell. You need a better screwdriver as the one that came with it got greasy on the first try.
