I have probably the rudest 11 year old girl I've ever met! And they last all school year so far! The leggings and skirt are stylish, love that they are attached! She's not too girly so I wasn't sure how they would affect her at school, but she really seems to like them. They went through the ringer and still have excellent colour, softness and shape! I will say that the elastic in the waistband tends to wrinkle with washing, but I just run my fingers through the material on the outside to smooth it out after washing. The elastic band inside the material around the waist is not sewn in, so the hip belt can easily be folded back into the material. She loves them, even got taller in them (I ordered her a normal size and they are perfect for her petite body and she has grown a bit and they are shorter on her legs but still look great). They are easy to clean! I bought two sets and she practically lives in them. They conform to the uniform dress code of our school district.
