Great linear switches, well packed.

The switches are noticeably smoother than my old Cherry Browns. They came in a secure plastic container, which also included a switch puller.

Pros
  • Originally 100%Made in Germany. Re-packed in small package in China.Cherry MX Switches for Mechanical Keyboards and OUTEMU Mechanical Keyboards. Compatible with most Mechanical Keyboards .12 Month Warranty.
Cons
  • The switches may not be compatible with certain custom keycap sets

Arrived with damaged pins, not in protective packaging.

The switches are mostly broken or unusable because they were shipped in a bag without any protection for the delicate pins. Even the ones that arrived undamaged were not able to be used or not working.I would not recommend this product to anyone. If the product was shipped in a manner that protected the pins and the switch as a whole, say in foam, then I might have been able to actually use these. Alas, that was not the case and these are not usable.

Pros
  • Cherry-Brown
Cons
  • The switches’ tactile feedback can be off-putting for users who prefer a smoother typing experience

Questionable origin, but quality parts

Like: they feel like Cherry MX Reds and work well. Very quiet and tactile.Dislike: packaged in China, have doubts that they're actually Cherry MX switches.

Pros
  • Black Switch Suitable groups:pure professional gamers Mechanical touch: linear, soft tactile, click tactile Key sound:no sense of the paragraph, the sound slightly Pressure grams: 80 Click life 50 million operations Trigger travel: 1.5mm.
Cons
  • The switches might not hold up well under heavy use and could wear out faster than other options

Works Okay best in my review

These switches work fine as replacements for the Cherry Browns that came with my keyboard, which started to fail after a couple of years. These replacements work fine for backlit keyboards. The original switches on my keyboard were much clearer than these, but once the keycap is on, it's really hard to see a difference in brightness. The feel is similar, though these replacements aren't quite as bouncy, and the tactile bump is very slightly less than the originals. Its very lose, and I don't…

Pros
  • 1.11 ounces
Cons
  • Users with smaller fingers may find the switches too large and uncomfortable to use

Needs better packaging

I actually like the feel of these blue switches, even if they are or are not real cherry blues. The only problem that I have is that some of them can have their pins bent very easily because of the packaging. They all come in a small plastic container, and while I've had luck with only 1 switch getting bent on arrival, I can see how more can get bent easily. I would def recommend these switches, but be warned they can get bent very easily in this packaging.

Pros
  • Brown Switch Suitable groups: Compatible games and Office Mechanical touch: two-stage, sense of the paragraph Key sound: the sound slightly Pressure grams: 40 Click life:50 million operations Trigger travel: 2.0mm.
Cons
  • The switches may require a higher level of maintenance than other options on the market

Not real MX reds in my review

Theyre way stiffer than reds and feel pretty ripped off when they're literally called mx reds. They're not bad. Just not what they're advertised as. Be aware.

Pros
  • China
Cons
  • The switches do not have a consistent sound profile, which can be distracting when typing

Worthless switches on my review.

The effort required to insert the switches is so great that I destroyed the pinns on 4 before I was able to insert one. I received a set with the Redragon keyboard I also bought from Ebay and when I inserted them it was extremely simple without much effort or stress. Comparatively, the effort required to insert these switches was so great because the pins are misaligned lightly and it makes it possible but very difficult to insert them. DO NOT BUY

Pros
  • Blue Switch Suitable groups: Compatible games and Office Mechanical touch: two-stage, sense of the paragraph Key sound:crisp sound, strong sense of the paragraph Pressure grams: 60 Click life:40 million operations Trigger travel: 2.4mm.
Cons
  • The switches have a long break-in period which can make typing feel uncomfortable and uneven

perfect replacement for non clear cherry mx also

I own three keyboards with mx brown switches. after over a decade of heavy use, one switch went bad. These clear bodied replacements fit and work perfectly, and the small case and key puller leave me well equipped for future needs. Soldering is required, but if you can handle that the rest is easy.

Pros
  • Cherry
Cons
  • The switches require a high actuation force which might be too tiring for some users during extended periods of typing

The Tactile bump in these is annoying after using reds for so long. They work good, quality is nice, just didn't like how they felt in use with the keyboards I installed them in, so I switched them out for silvers.

Pros
  • These switches are of good quality and have yet to have one fail on me. There worth the price.
Cons
  • it’s was okay thankfully i only needed 3. some came broken and bent.

Not clicky? - my new review

The switches I received are silent with subtle tactile response, no audible click feedback that you should get from cherry Mx blues. I suspect they are counterfeit.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories & Peripherals
Cons
  • The switches' tactile feedback may make it harder for users to type at a fast rate, leading to lower productivity

Just as expected, and delivered in hard plastic box

These switches work just as I expected them to, LED's and all. I've already put one in a board with RGB, and another in an unlit board; both work fine.I noticed that some older reviews mention their switches being delivered without adequate protection for shipping, but I'm happy to report that mine were delivered in a hard plastic case. The case was cracked during shipping, but the switches survived just fine.10/10 would buy again.

Pros
  • Keyboards, Mice & Accessories
Cons
  • The switches may have a learning curve for users who are accustomed to other switch types

I am happy to have my keyboard back

Just what I needed to fix my broken keyboard. It took some skill to de-solder and solder back on the new one, but worth the hour or so.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Cherry MX RGB Brown Tactile Switches’ keys may become sticky or unresponsive over time, leading to a frustrating typing experience
