Best of the poor options available

The camera is good and reasonably well built, but the microphone sucks and the documentation on its range is inconsistent - some descriptions say 6ft, others 8ft. It's closer to 6ft so I had to buy an outrageously overpriced extension mic, which is also proprietary so not useful as a mic for anything else (although it at least works fine). I've used it during quarantine and it's the best option for vacuum products, but it's overpriced for what it is. The Facebook portal has a much better microphone and is only $150 - it also has a built-in computer. This is a much better option for most people, but it only works with Facebook and WhatsApp videos, and I needed something to use with Zoom connected to a computer that I already had connected to my TV . Another problem is that the right oscilloscope software does not work on Windows 10. It's grayed out in the software, I've spent a few hours troubleshooting, and Logitech's support is useless. I suspect it's some kind of hard-coded version check that might conflict with the Windows Insider Preview. That's disappointing as the $150 Facebook portal has a similar face search scale that works great. In short, this is the best of several terrible options in a vacuum. from this product category - most people should get the Facebook portal, those who want something for their PC and have extra money can get it.
