Updated Review: The company contacted me to offer a new and improved version of the monitor. I waited two weeks to test the product before updating my review. The new version is great! It appears to have stronger magnets and can support the weight of the monitor. The screen quality is fantastic! The only issue I've found, however, is that the weight of the laptop causes the laptop to fall when the monitor isn't open (there's not much you can do about that), but when I try to remove it, it can be a little to be difficult. The main problem of the monitor is the battery drain. Since it completely depends on the laptop battery, it drains the laptop battery pretty quickly. If you're on the go and don't have access to an outlet, I recommend keeping an eye on the battery life and turning it off if necessary. The monitor was a real help in my daily work with spreadsheets and documents without the traditional desktop layout at home. . To be honest I should have bought it a few years ago! Previous Review: I really, really wanted to find a way to keep this running, but the overall setup and product support sucks. The same day I received the monitor, the back of the monitor fell off the magnets that were supposed to hold the monitor in place. There are some bad 3M stickers that come with the product that are supposed to hold the weight of the product and it's no wonder they don't. Really a shame as the monitor is really good and the installation was easy. The stand that comes with it is only for a standalone monitor which seems like a downside to me, if the stand could be added to the monitor it would solve my problem. Basically, I like that it fits in a mount, extends the screen, and is portable. If the mount was more reliable I would definitely keep this product. Unfortunately I have to go back, I see that it will soon break off entirely considering that after two uses a pad has already come loose. Damn.
