I was rebuilding my jeep fender and needed to replace four plastic rivets. When I received this tool I found it to be very durable and well made. So I decided to install the first plastic rivet. After a few clicks on the handle it was installed. Then I noticed that the broken rod was still in the tool. I shook it but it didn't fall out. I squeezed and pulled on the handles, but the stem wouldn't come out. Then I disassembled the tool and managed to pull out the handle. I agreed to do this 3 more times because I just wanted to finish this project and probably never need to use this tool again. one and finished tool. I couldn't get it to work. It was very frustrating because I can't finish my project now and now I'm looking for a better quality tool. I read about this problem with a similar tool of this kind. I think you just have to roll the dice and hope you get one that works more than once or twice.
