Review on 🎧 HUAWEI Freebuds 4i: Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling & 10H Battery Life in Black by ng Hong Dng ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

The overall impression is mediocre; I find it to be pleasing to my ears and prefer it to a cheap knockoff of the pods, but the sound quality leaves something to be desired. After adjusting the equalizer on the honor, I found that increasing the bass made the sound more balanced and enjoyable. These fit comfortably for approximately an hour and a half to two hours before they start to fall out and bother my ears, and that's with my relatively large ears. The gesture controls are a mess. Any pair of headphones can be set up to do two functions with two touches, however this is insufficient. It's helpful that you can double-tap to fix instead of pausing, but you'll need to do that frequently. Everything is good despite the microphone being present. Even when I'm not yelling, they seem to understand what I'm saying. Plenty of people were griping about how challenging it was to get the headphones out of their case, but I had no trouble at all doing so when I switched to using the pods. I switched on the bass and the norms in the settings, but I can't guarantee that all devices will have either the norms or the noise reduction, let alone both. Personally, I don't think the headphones are worth the asking price given that even without changing any sound settings on my phone, I would hear bass in addition to the usual tones. Personally, I do not think the headphones merit that price. I had originally planned on checking out the Realmi Pods3, but wound up looking at either the Huawei or the Honor instead due to a higher degree of trust in the reviews and ratings. Overall, I'm pleased with them, though I didn't exactly do the happy dance. There have been no complaints about how rapidly they charge. The magnets used to keep the headphones in place inside the enclosure are powerful and efficient.

Pros
  • The microphone can be used normally while the noise reduction and transparency features are active.
Cons
  • The headphones have a fairly large size, a flimsy cover, middling sound quality, and very few controls.
