Review on 🎧 HUAWEI Freebuds 4i: Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling & 10H Battery Life in Black by Ada Adamek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

The headphones look like Freebuds Pro, which gives hope for some of their functions. The fit compared to the Freebuds 3i is excellent - the shape is smoother or something, definitely more anatomical. USB Type-C charging connector. The headphones have three (possibly four) microphones. One outside on the leg, two on the inside of the leg and there is also a hole under the ear pads. Case in the form of a pebble. Getting the headphones out of the case is unusual. The case looks decent in pants. Noise reduction operation Two noise control modes are available - Transparency and Noise Reduction. Both modes are tied to the entire set of microphones. Noise cancellation works similarly to the Freebuds 3i. In the Transparency mode, the background sounds are a little louder, which is a little annoying. In 3i, the microphone responsible for noise reduction is located next to the sensor. Because of this, every touch of the sensor was given to the earpiece. New headphones have no such shortcomings from the word at all. Operating range The evaluation was carried out with Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it has Bluetooth version 5.0, so modern smartphones with Bluetooth version 5.2 most likely will not have these problems and the range will be greater. Headphones steadily catch up to 15 meters or 5 floors of new buildings. After the 8th floor it stops catching, it's about 25 meters. If you then return to the reception area, you need to press the sensor to resume playback. Headphones do not react to head turns in any way - as they worked, they still work. In a crowded place, the signal disappears, but not critical. There are no delays and other artifacts. If the connection is bad, then the headphones are simply silent. Sport When running, I prefer the Freebuds 3i. I did not notice any striking differences from the new headphones. Maybe the microphones are a little less sensitive to wind, I was expecting stronger wind suppression. During running, the earbuds fall out of the ears a little from sweat. Sound quality I am not a sound specialist, but I am very picky about its quality. I always take Sennheiser wired headphones as a sample. So these headphones sound perfect for me. Bass and lows are good, the volume of the stage is decent.

With its pros. Good sound for wireless headphones. They sit comfortably in the ears, do not fall out. Do not lose contact with the phone. They hold a charge for a long time and charge quickly. Some cons: The microphone is not very good, talking on the phone is possible only in a quiet room.
