Review on πŸ’ͺ ColdTi: Enhanced Cryptocurrency Seed Storage for Optimal Security and Convenience by Joe Bottomkent

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great offer. Another level of loss prevention.

Ordered 3 of it and stamped my first tonight. Converts my BIP-39 seed to numbers. Check and triple check and then insert slowly. Then I checked the stamp against the seed again. Remember, ONE good hit, not a bunch of smaller ones. I ordered a full set of letter stamps, a three pound hammer and a steel stamp block. I had to align and re-stamp a few characters for wrong angles or imperfections, but you can't tell. It was pretty easy to do. I could realign the stamp perfectly if it needed a little re-punching. The smallest stain can be seen on the back of the plate under the stamp. It's like a little block that someone might have rubbed some steel wool on or something and you can't tell which characters are on the other side. My plates came out PERFECTLY flat. I read a lot of reviews here that the plates twisted when stamped. I suspect they didn't use a hard steel plate behind the ColdTi strip. I bought a metal stamp block here at Revain for $17. It's worth it. My rating for this is very high because it seems very reasonable to be able to get such a high melting point metal shielded with a nice mesh for your original words for $39. Tighten the mounting screws and one of my screws was missing a piece of blackening. I used some Birchwood Casey Super Black and it looks great. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to get rid of some paper wallets and needs another layer of loss protection. I'm glad I bought them.

Pros
