Fluance RT85 Review

I bought the RT85, unfortunately the dust cover was broken in 2 places and the right channel didn't work. Fluance Audio was very good at getting my money back. This review is for the product and NOT the company I bought from. cartridge (easily costs $220). The acrylic panel was good (looked cool), but I'm not sure if they improve or decrease the sound quality (although the cost is around $120). Do you think of MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) as real "solid wood”?.? (IMHO: no) - However, it can be finished with your choice of wood veneer or painted black. There's not much to say about the engine; yes, it turned the record. Very, very disappointed in the tonearm; - Screwing the cartridge to the arm was rough as the threads were of very poor quality. I had to move the cartridge to get the filaments aligned. - The plastic arm lock did not block the arm, the arm could still move. - Cueing mechanism in UP position IMO didn't lift the cartridge high enough. - Dark inscription on the scale Black Weight; Maybe my eyes are getting old, but I couldn't see the numbers. I'm VERY surprised by the number of 5 star reviews for this player. I was lucky mine didn't work and I got my money back. fair and honest; I sincerely hope you are happy if you buy any of the RT versions because that is the most important thing. I'm sorry but I wasn't impressed at all.
