Why is "Transparency" a category? It can't be what I think it is - transparent or translucent. It's a damn cotton swab. In any case, they are ideal for correcting nails (if you paint outside the lines), applying makeup and correction, applying medication (especially Orajel or Anbesol for aching teeth), cleaning small cuts, applying a precise line and for applying glue eyelash strips or other small parts without leaving cotton threads, cleaning or drying ear creases (except ear canals, cotton swabs). Swabs should not be used to clean the ear canal!), pretty much anything that requires a cotton swab. The cotton is wrapped tightly around each tip, giving you a level of precision that other cotton swabs just don't offer. I also love the plastic container with the snap-on lid! This makes them much more portable and protects them from dust and other debris. They are definitely worth the price and are on my "must have" list.
