These lamps are almost perfect. You look great. Good quality light. There are no dimming problems (or flickering). There is only one problem, the base is too long. This means the metal is sticking out of the socket. I didn't notice it aesthetically. If our chandelier weren't bronze, it might not get noticed. However, this is an open part of the circuit and you can get a minor electric shock. In the right situations, there shouldn't be much current. I can touch metal and since I'm not grounded I don't feel anything. When I touch metal and another part of a grounded lamp: bam! ⚡ In practice, this does not pose a serious problem, since chandeliers are rarely touched. But that's enough hassle to deduct a star. With a smaller base it would easily be 5 stars. See pictures for a comparison between these bulbs and the bulbs they replaced.
