Review on Armarkat Classic Cat Tree Beige by Stephanie Pratt

TL; DR: Not a bad tree for the price, but make sure you have something to attach it to. I really appreciate how easy this tree was to assemble. I've had it for about a week and while it feels durable it doesn't pill and my cat loves the fabric. She spends about 90% of her day at the camp. However, I have to say that I disagree with most of the reviews. The tree was so unstable that at first my cat didn't use it other than quickly jump off it to get somewhere else - and this is a lonely yearling little cat. Even putting him in a corner or weighing him down wasn't enough. The only way I could get her to use it was by squeezing it between the wall and my dresser (photo attached), with the weight still on the floor. She finds it difficult to get up. I wanted this tree specifically because it took up less space than the more common ones, but now I understand why most trees shift levels a little more. The fabric is too slippery to hold on to, which I don't think helps. I constantly have to rearrange my room to find a way to make levels easier to climb, as well as making sure the whole thing doesn't wobble. I should add that I do NOT think it could fall, but my cat didn't like climbing on anything that wobbles. All in all not a bad deal for the price and was easy to put together. However, if it weren't so big and difficult to pack, I would send it back.
