Armarkat Classic Cat Tree Beige Review

Our cat is quite small and light and this tree suits her perfectly. It's pretty solid, although ours is a little wobbly. We could probably get rid of this if we put some sort of padding under the short side, but to be honest the wobble isn't enough to be a concern and it doesn't bother the cat. We've had it for a few years now and it's still in great condition.

This is my fourth cat Armarkat since living in the States and for the first time I can't give 5 stars. It may be me for choosing the wrong model as all my others have a 4 post base. I wanted a smaller tree for another room and it just didn't have the stability cats need to run up and down the tree. I've had nothing but praise for this brand in the past, but smaller models should have a clear warning of stability issues.

I have had several Armarkat trees and they have stood up well to intensive use by six large active cats. This tree is no exception. I ordered a different brand for some foster cats and within 1 month the carpet on one of the posts was gone. Within 4 months of brief use by 2 small cats and a kitten, one of the platform legs broke, startling the poor foster parents. Another tree was similar to Armarkat but clearly not of the same quality. TL; DR: Not a bad tree for the price, but make sure you have something to attach it to. I really appreciate how easy this tree was to assemble. I've had it for about a week and while it feels durable it doesn't pill and my cat loves the fabric. She spends about 90% of her day at the camp. However, I have to say that I disagree with most of the reviews. The tree was so unstable that at first my cat didn't use it other than quickly jump off it to get somewhere else - and this is a lonely yearling
